A maxi taxi driver was robbed by two men, who pretended to be passengers.
The robbery occurred around 10.30 am on Sunday morning while the 57-year-old driver was driving east along the Priority Bus Route (PBR).
The driver stopped to pick up two men at Red Hill in D’Abadie.
Shortly after boarding the maxi taxi, one of the men drew a gun and threatened the driver.
The driver handed over $330 to the men before stopping the maxi taxi for them to get out.
He later told police that he was not sure whether the men robbed the lone female passenger in the maxi taxi.
He claimed that told her that he was going to immediately report the robbery but she decided to not accompany him and instead transferred to another maxi taxi.
Investigations are continuing.
