Po­lit­i­cal Leader of the Pa­tri­ot­ic Front, Mick­ela Pan­day, has is­sued a state­ment con­ced­ing de­feat in the 2025 Gen­er­al Elec­tion and con­grat­u­lat­ing the Unit­ed Na­tion­al Con­gress (UNC) on its vic­to­ry.

In the state­ment re­leased on Tues­day, Pan­day ex­pressed grat­i­tude to sup­port­ers, ac­knowl­edg­ing the con­tri­bu­tions of those who par­tic­i­pat­ed in the par­ty’s cam­paign across all 37 con­stituen­cies.

“To­day, my heart is full, not with re­gret, but with grat­i­tude,” she stat­ed. “We didn’t have the biggest bud­gets or the loud­est head­lines. What we had was some­thing far more pow­er­ful: peo­ple who dared to be­lieve that change was worth fight­ing for.”

Al­though the par­ty did not se­cure any seats, Pan­day em­pha­sized the sig­nif­i­cance of the cam­paign ef­fort and the sup­port re­ceived. “We built some­thing that the polls can­not mea­sure: a move­ment of courage, con­vic­tion, and hope,” she said.

Pan­day con­firmed her con­tin­ued com­mit­ment to pub­lic ser­vice, stat­ing, “I stood for what I be­lieve in, and be­cause of you, I stood taller and I will con­tin­ue stand­ing.”

She ac­knowl­edged the out­come of the elec­tion and

ex­tend­ed con­grat­u­la­tions to the UNC, adding, “I wish every elect­ed rep­re­sen­ta­tive the wis­dom and courage to serve our na­tion with the in­tegri­ty our peo­ple de­serve.”

The state­ment con­clud­ed with a mes­sage af­firm­ing the par­ty’s con­tin­ued en­gage­ment in na­tion­al de­vel­op­ment, de­spite the elec­toral re­sult.
