The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) wishes to advise the public of the streaming of the recorded ‘Celebration of Life’ service for the late musical and cultural icon, Lutalo “Brother Resistance” Masimba, today, Monday July 26th, on the NCC’s online platform, Trinidad and Tobago Carnival World at tntcarnivalworld.com.
NCC says the uploaded ceremony is free to view and easily accessible to the public simply by logging on today to tntcarnivalworld.com and clicking the “What’s Happening” tab at the top of the page.
One of the Commission’s longest serving and dedicated commissioners, Lutalo Masimba, who was laid to rest at a private ceremony last Friday July 23rd, passed away on July 14th, causing shockwaves and an outpouring of heartfelt condolences all around the world.
“The NCC joins with his family and loved ones, TUCO, and the national and international community in celebrating the life of one of Trinidad and Tobago’s most beloved cultural titans, and a man of the people and the art form,” an official release from the NCC stated.
It added: “The NCC invites the public to log on to tntcarnivalworld.com, and share with us, as we look back on the life and the legacy of Brother Resistance.”
