The Min­istry of Health pro­vides the fol­low­ing clin­i­cal up­date as of the morn­ing of Sat­ur­day 5th Sep­tem­ber, 2020:

The Min­istry of Health al­so pro­vides the fol­low­ing up­date:

One hun­dred and two (102) ad­di­tion­al per­sons have test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19. These are re­sults from sam­ples tak­en dur­ing the pe­ri­od Au­gust 28th to Sep­tem­ber 4th, 2020. There­fore, this fig­ure is NOT rep­re­sen­ta­tive of the pos­i­tive cas­es over the last 24 hours on­ly.

It should be not­ed that, of the one hun­dred and two (102) COVID-19 pos­i­tive cas­es re­port­ed, thir­ty-three (33) of these re­fer to per­sons who were al­ready housed at a pub­lic health quar­an­tine fa­cil­i­ty and have not been in cir­cu­la­tion with­in the na­tion­al com­mu­ni­ty. All es­tab­lished pro­to­cols have been im­ple­ment­ed.

The Min­istry of Health re­grets to in­form the pub­lic that there is an ad­di­tion­al COVID-19 re­lat­ed death. The per­son is an adult male with co-mor­bidi­ties. This brings the to­tal num­ber of COVID19 re­lat­ed deaths to 32.

Ten (10) ad­di­tion­al per­sons have been dis­charged.

One thou­sand one hun­dred and eighty five (1,185) pa­tients have been home iso­lat­ed un­der the con­tin­u­ous mon­i­tor­ing of the re­spec­tive Coun­ty Med­ical Of­fi­cer Health (CMOH) of­fices.

Six­ty-nine (69) pa­tients will be processed for ad­mis­sion at the dis­cre­tion of the CMOHs.
