The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (WASA) is ad­vis­ing that heavy overnight rain­fall in ar­eas of North East Trinidad has im­pact­ed op­er­a­tions at sev­er­al sur­face wa­ter treat­ment fa­cil­i­ties.

In a re­lease pro­vid­ed by WASA, the or­gan­i­sa­tion stat­ed that they will con­tin­ue to pro­vide up­dates as "every at­tempt is be­ing made to re­turn these fa­cil­i­ties to ser­vice at the ear­li­est pos­si­ble time.
