Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nizam Mohammed, is expected to meet this week with Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley to discuss the best way to deal with T&T nationals stranded in conflict zones around the world.
Mr Mohammed has been advising the Government on the issue, as the Rowley Administration seeks solutions to the challenges surrounding repatriating nationals from such countries.
An official statement from the Office of the Prime Minister reports the former Speaker’s meeting with PM Rowley—Head of the National Security Council—will be held at Whitehall, and also will include other members of the National Security Council.
“Mr Mohammed will be accompanied to the meeting by other persons who have been contributing to this effort,” the PM’s Office statement said.
