For­mer Speak­er of the House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives, Nizam Mo­hammed, is ex­pect­ed to meet this week with Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley to dis­cuss the best way to deal with T&T na­tion­als strand­ed in con­flict zones around the world.

Mr Mo­hammed has been ad­vis­ing the Gov­ern­ment on the is­sue, as the Row­ley Ad­min­is­tra­tion seeks so­lu­tions to the chal­lenges sur­round­ing repa­tri­at­ing na­tion­als from such coun­tries.

An of­fi­cial state­ment from the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter re­ports the for­mer Speak­er’s meet­ing with PM Row­ley—Head of the Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty Coun­cil—will be held at White­hall, and al­so will in­clude oth­er mem­bers of the Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty Coun­cil.

“Mr Mo­hammed will be ac­com­pa­nied to the meet­ing by oth­er per­sons who have been con­tribut­ing to this ef­fort,” the PM’s Of­fice state­ment said.
