Po­lice of­fi­cers sus­pect the de­com­pos­ing body found in San­gre Grande yes­ter­day is that of a miss­ing teenag­er.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said two men went to dig yams in a forest­ed area on Yuric Road, Boys Town, when they spot­ted the body in a drain.

Po­lice of­fi­cers were im­me­di­ate­ly con­tact­ed.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said the hands and feet were bound and tied. They sus­pect it could be the body of a miss­ing teenag­er from San­gre Grande who dis­ap­peared sev­en days ago af­ter go­ing out to meet some friends. The teenag­er nev­er re­turned home.
