In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing in­to the al­leged ab­duc­tion and sex­u­al as­sault of a 15-year-old girl on Thurs­day.

The teenag­er was re­port­ed­ly grabbed by an un­known man at around 6.45 pm while walk­ing to a neigh­bour­hood shop lo­cat­ed at Wa­ter­hole, Co­corite.

It is al­leged that as she took a short­cut be­hind the build­ing, a man of African de­scent, dressed in a black jer­sey and black three-quar­ter jeans pants, grabbed her and pushed her in­to the rear pas­sen­ger seat of a black car that was wait­ing near­by.

Re­ports state that a sec­ond man of African de­scent, with a plait­ed hair­style, wear­ing a white vest and white long pants, held her head down as they drove off in an un­known di­rec­tion.

The dri­ver re­port­ed­ly took the ve­hi­cle to an aban­doned prop­er­ty in an area un­fa­mil­iar to the vic­tim.

The teen was then dragged in­to a house where she was sex­u­al­ly as­sault­ed. She was lat­er tak­en back to the car and dropped off at the Co­corite walkover with a warn­ing: “You bet­ter not tell no­body about this.”

The girl im­me­di­ate­ly in­formed her fa­ther of what had oc­curred and was tak­en to the St James Po­lice Sta­tion, where a re­port was made.

The vic­tim was sub­se­quent­ly tak­en to the St James In­fir­mary, where she was med­ical­ly ex­am­ined by the Dis­trict Med­ical Of­fi­cer.
