Police officers attached to the Northern Division task force recovered a stolen vehicle and a firearm yesterday.
According to police reports, based on information received officers proceeded to a garage along Ramzan Drive, El Socorro where they found a stolen Nissan Sentra.
The vehicle was reported stolen on October 21st in San Juan. Four suspects ages 27 to 52 were arrested in connection with the find.
Whilst on this exercise, officers received information and proceeded to Councilman Circular, Malick where a search was conducted and one black Smith and Wesson M&P rifle, with one magazine and five rounds of 5.56 ammunition was found and seized. No one has been arrested with this find. The exercise was spearheaded by Snr Supt Maharaj, Supt MaynardWilson, Supt Alexander, Asp Parriman Insp. Ramsingh, coordinated by Sgt. Martin and supervised by Ag/Cpl Duncan. Investigations are continuing.
