The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is seeking the public’s urgent assistance in locating 17-year-old Shania Saroop of San Juan.
Saroop was last seen on September 15 and was reported missing at the San Juan Police Station later that day.
Police described the teenager as being of mixed descent, approximately five feet, two inches tall and light brown in complexion.
At the time she was last seen, Saroop was wearing a black and white plaid skirt, white sneakers and socks.
The TTPS is appealing to anyone who may have seen Saroop or has information that could assist in determining her whereabouts to contact the police.
Information can be provided to the San Juan Police Station at 674-0100, or through the police hotlines 800-TIPS, 555, 999 or 911.
Members of the public can also contact any police station with information.
The TTPS is urging anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible to assist with the search for the missing teenager.
