Reports said officers from the Tobago Divisional Task Force, supported by the Inter-Agency Task Force, Guard and Emergency Branch, K9 Unit and Defence Force, carried out searches across the Moriah district between 4 and 8 am.

They found the high-powered rifle with 20 rounds of 5.56 ammunition and a magazine outside a dilapidated structure at Mt Zion Trace.
