Po­lice of­fi­cers shot and killed one sus­pect, wound­ed an­oth­er, and ar­rest­ed a third, af­ter an at­tempt­ed rob­bery of a wa­ter de­liv­ery truck on Aranguez Main Road on Mon­day af­ter­noon.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, around 1 pm, de­liv­ery men from a Blue Wa­ters truck had parked along the main road when two men jumped in­to the truck, at­tempt­ing to rob them.

The strug­gle be­tween the dri­ver, the lor­ry man, and the sus­pects alert­ed mem­bers of the In­ter-Agency Task Force, who were pa­trolling near­by.

One of­fi­cer saw the sus­pects run­ning south along Aranguez Main Road and opened fire. A marked po­lice ve­hi­cle al­so re­spond­ed.

A sil­ver AD wag­on pulled up as the sus­pects were es­cap­ing, and they got in­side.

While con­tin­u­ing to give chase, the po­lice in­ter­cept­ed the ve­hi­cle and opened fire, fa­tal­ly shoot­ing one sus­pect.

The oth­er two sus­pects fled, but their es­cape was short-lived as the po­lice even­tu­al­ly cap­tured them. One of the sus­pects was shot and wound­ed.

The de­ceased sus­pect has yet to be iden­ti­fied.
