At a me­dia con­fer­ence at the Diplo­mat­ic Cen­tre, St Ann's, Port-of-Spain, Prime Min­is­ter Dr. Kei­th Row­ley stat­ed that the Pres­i­dent of Trinidad and To­ba­go will be rep­re­sent­ing the coun­try at Queen Eliz­a­beth II’s fu­ner­al.  

Dr. Row­ley said, “arrange­ments are in place for the Pres­i­dent of Trinidad and To­ba­go to at­tend the fu­ner­al of Queen Eliz­a­beth II and is be­ing han­dled by the Min­istry of For­eign Af­fairs and the Pres­i­dent’s Of­fice.” 

He added that any ad­di­tion­al in­for­ma­tion con­cern­ing the trip and the en­voy’s de­par­ture will be re­leased in the very near fu­ture.
