A Princes Town man has been charged with mur­der and pos­ses­sion of a firearm and am­mu­ni­tion.

Shaquille Jem­mott, 23, of Third Branch Road, New Grant, was charged fol­low­ing ad­vice re­ceived from Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions Roger Gas­pard SC last Fri­day.

He is charged with the mur­der of Ran­dell Bram­ble, 29, of Tor­rib Trace, New Grant, Princes Town, whose body was found by po­lice in an open lot of land at Old Brazil Road, Waller­field, on June 6, 2020.

Bram­ble was shot dur­ing an in­ci­dent at the same lo­ca­tion on June 4.

Af­ter the shoot­ing in­ci­dent, a re­port was made to the Va­len­cia Po­lice Post and two sus­pects were held short­ly af­ter in the Waller­field dis­trict in con­nec­tion with the mat­ter.

One of the sus­pects was sub­se­quent­ly re­leased. In­ves­ti­ga­tions were su­per­vised by ASP Dou­glas of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions, Re­gion 3.

Jem­mottwas charged by Sgt Lewis of the Ari­ma Po­lice Sta­tion last Fri­day.
