“Where the gun?”

That is what the men who killed Julieno Lewis asked him be­fore they shot him mul­ti­ple times in Palmyra Vil­lage on Sun­day.

Lewis, 28, of Co­r­i­al Road, Princes Town and a 62-year-old woman were in the back­seat of a sil­ver AD wag­on parked in the carpark area of Rawle’s Recre­ation Club ear­ly that morn­ing.

Po­lice said around 2.51 am, two sus­pects armed with guns ap­proached and asked Lewis about the gun. He did not re­ply. They then opened fire on him.

The woman was shot once in the stom­ach. The sus­pects es­caped in a white AD wag­on. Lewis died at the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal while the woman re­mained ward­ed in a sta­ble con­di­tion up to late yes­ter­day. Po­lice said Lewis was not known to them.  

 Of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau Re­gion 3 are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
