A Prison Officer was killed last night when the vehicle in which he was travelling crashed into a truck that was parked along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Prison Officer Richard Ali, from Dow Village in California.
Guardian Media understands Ali died on impact when his vehicle crashed into a truck that was parked along the south-bound lane of the highway, near T&TEC.
It is believed the wet road conditions may have played a part in causing the accident.
