Relatives of 44-year-old Jamie Mohammed are seeking the public's assistance in finding her.
Mohammed of Mendez Village, Siparia, has been missing for three weeks.
Her sister-in-law Evelyn Chatoo said Mohammed's common-law husband told them he last saw her on October 18 when he dropped her off at a bar at Coora Road Junction in Siparia to lime with her friends. She never returned home.
Her sister-in-law said Mohammed's husband informed them about her disappearance three days ago.
She said they have not been getting through with calls to her cellphone.
Relatives later filed a missing persons report at the Siparia Police Station and subsequently contacted the Hunters Search and Rescue Team. Chatoo said they went to the bar where Mohammed was dropped off and learnt that she was there on October 18, but were told that she hadn't returned. Mohammed's female friend, who was liming with her, told relatives that Mohammed left around 3 am to get a taxi home. Chattoo said Mohammed would not have stayed away for so long without contacting a family member.
She added Mohammed does not have access to money as she doesn't have her bank card.
Yesterday, members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team were out searching for Mohammed.
Anyone with information has been asked to contact the police immediately.
