A re­tired teacher from Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege, San Fer­nan­do and her broth­er were each grant­ed $6,000 bail af­ter they were charged with pos­ses­sion of co­caine.

Po­lice re­port­ed that on June 4, of­fi­cers of the South­ern Di­vi­sion un­der the su­per­vi­sion of Snr Supt Si­mon re­ceived in­for­ma­tion about a crime and went to Vista­bel­la. Act­ing on the in­for­ma­tion, of­fi­cers stopped a black Toy­ota RAV4. Dur­ing the search of the ve­hi­cle, dri­ven by Cheryl Ghany, of­fi­cers found a quan­ti­ty of creamish rock-like sub­stance re­sem­bling co­caine.

Ghany and her broth­er David were both charged with pos­ses­sion of co­caine for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing.
