Min­is­ter in the Min­istry of Hous­ing, Anil Roberts, says he was in­volved in a ve­hic­u­lar ac­ci­dent on Sat­ur­day morn­ing on his way to at­tend prac­tice for the na­tion­al ju­nior swim­ming team.

In a video he post­ed to his Face­book page, Roberts said the ac­ci­dent oc­curred oblique­ly op­po­site the gas sta­tion on the Beetham High­way at 5:23am.

Ac­cord­ing to his post, he was head­ed east on the in­side lane of the high­way when a white BMW gave a bad dri­ve on the left lane forc­ing an­oth­er ve­hi­cle to hit Roberts’ car.

There­after, a ve­hi­cle in the back Roberts slammed in­to the back of his car. While no one died, Roberts said mul­ti­ple peo­ple were tak­en the hos­pi­tal.

He con­firmed while he did feel the im­pact of the ac­ci­dent, he was okay and he wished all the oth­ers in­volved in the ac­ci­dent a speedy re­cov­ery.
