The MV Cabo Star is expected to undergo urgent engine maintenance works scheduled for Saturday 18th to Sunday 19th December 2021, and as such, it will not be sailing on Sunday December 19th.
An advisory from the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) notes the normal sailing schedule will resume on Monday 20th December 2021, at 2.00 pm from Port of Spain.
The TTIT also is advising all Port Users, Truckers and Shippers that that the MV Cabo Star will sail on the following days:
● Friday 24th December 2021 – Depart Trinidad at 2:00 pm; no sailing from Tobago
● Sunday 26th December 2021 – No sailing from Trinidad; depart Tobago at 11:00 pm
● Monday 27th December 2021 – Depart Trinidad at 1:00 pm; depart Tobago at 11:00 pm
The public is asked to note that upon arrival into Scarborough on Friday December 24th, the MV Cabo Star will remain in port until Sunday December 26th when it will depart at 11.00 pm. All trucks/vans will therefore remain in Tobago, as their weights will exceed the requirements on the passenger ferries.
The TTIT also is reminding the public that the Cabo Star is not scheduled to sail on the following days:
● Saturday 25th December 2021 (Christmas Day)
● Friday 31st December 2021
