For the second day, classes at Marabella North Secondary School have been dismissed early due to a water issue.
Some parents arrived at the school located shortly before midday to pick up their children after being contacted by school officials. Parents who spoke with Guardian Media were upset over the situation.
David Pyankarop said he had to leave work to pick up his son. “This is ridiculous,” lamented the father. He called on school officials and the ministry to have the situation rectified to ensure that the children have regular school next week. On Thursday classes were dismissed around 10.30 am.
School officials refused to speak with media.
