Students who sat the SEA exam will get their results on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Education.
The ministry said results will become available from 11:00 p.m. on July 2 through its SEA online portal, marking a key milestone for thousands of pupils preparing to transition into secondary school.
A total of 17,509 students wrote the examination on 26 March 2026, comprising 8,854 boys and 8,655 girls.
The ministry advised that results will be available exclusively through the online platform and confirmed that schools will not distribute hard copies of SEA results, as printed results are not required for the secondary school registration process.
Parents and guardians seeking to access results will need information contained on the student’s SEA Admission Slip. Required details include the student’s date of birth, student number and admissions number.
The ministry encouraged families to prepare those details in advance to ensure smooth access once results are released.
Special guidance was also issued for private candidates who may have misplaced their SEA admission slips. Those parents and guardians are being asked to submit a detailed request for a replacement slip to the Ministry’s Examinations Department or contact the department directly for assistance.
The ministry said additional support materials, including how-to guides and an information booklet, will be shared through its social media platforms to help families navigate the online results process.
The SEA examination remains one of the most significant milestones in Trinidad and Tobago’s education system, determining placement into secondary schools across the country.
In its release, the Ministry of Education congratulated all students who participated in this year’s examination and extended best wishes as they prepare to begin the next phase of their educational journey.
Students and parents can access and download results through the Ministry of Education’s SEA portal once it goes live on the announced date and time.
