The sailings times for both the T&T Spirit and the Jean De La Valette have been rescheduled for Monday 25 January 2021—the date of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) elections.
The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) has issued a reminder advisory concerning the schedule changes for the two ferries servicing the sea bridge between Trinidad and Tobago.
According to the TTIT advisory, the Jean De La Valette will now sail from Port of Spain at 6:30 am, instead of the original sailing time of 9:00 am. It will leave Scarborough at 1:00 pm, rather than 4:00 pm, as originally scheduled.
Meanwhile, the T&T Spirit will depart Scarborough at 6:30 am instead of 10:00 am (as originally scheduled). It will leave Port of Spain at 1:00 pm instead of the originally scheduled 4:00 pm.
The TTIT assures passengers with confirmed ferry tickets they are not required to revalidate their ferry tickets to travel at the rescheduled times.
It also confirms that the regular sailing schedule will resume on Tuesday 26th January 2021.
