Sev­en sus­pects were ar­rest­ed for vary­ing of­fences in­clud­ing bur­glary and nar­cotics pos­ses­sion dur­ing an­ti-crime ex­er­cis­es con­duct­ed in the South West­ern and East­ern Di­vi­sions on Wednes­day.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors con­duc­ing en­quiries in­to a re­port of Bur­glary which oc­cured in the Ce­dros dis­trict on Feb­ru­ary 21st, ar­rest­ed four men, in con­nec­tion with the mat­ter.

They are ex­pect­ed to be charged with the of­fence and ap­pear in court this week.

Mean­while, in the San­gre Grande dis­trict, East­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force of­fi­cers con­duct­ed an ex­er­cise be­tween 9 pm and 12 mid­night, yes­ter­day, dur­ing which they paid spe­cial at­ten­tion to three known drug blocks.

Three sus­pects, ages, 23, 28 and 47, all of San­gre Grande were ar­rest­ed for pos­ses­sion of co­caine, pos­ses­sion of cannabis and pos­ses­sion of ap­pa­ra­tus dur­ing the ex­er­cise.
