Seven people were arrested and a stolen vehicle recovered during an anti-crime operation across the Southern Division on Saturday.
Four people were arrested in connection with a reported larceny at a supermarket in Princes Town.
Police intercepted a Nissan Qashqai on the Golconda Connector Road, Retrench Village, around 2.15 pm and found haberdashery and hygiene products believed to be linked to the larceny.
In a separate incident, police recovered a white Nissan AD Wagon which had been reported stolen in Couva on Friday.
The vehicle was tracked by GPS to a property along Tarouba Road, Marabella, where it was found with a different registration number. A 52-year-old man was arrested.
A 22-year-old Marabella man was also arrested for possession of cocaine, while a Princes Town woman was detained for allegedly assaulting a police officer, using obscene language and resisting arrest.
Investigations are continuing.
