South African Miles Lieben­berg won the Youth Men’s In­di­vid­ual Time Tri­al Cy­cling event at the 2023 Com­mon­wealth Youth Games.

Lieben­berg made up tremen­dous ground in the fi­nal five kilo­me­ters of the 20km Bri­an Lara Crick­et Acad­e­my course and jumped from 5th po­si­tion in­to the lead.

He clocked 19 min­utes 17.62 sec­onds on his way to vic­to­ry.

Scot­land’s El­liot Rowe was sec­ond in 19:21.01 and in third po­si­tion was Aus­tralia’s Will Heath.
