Investigations are continuing into the fatal shooting of a 41-year-old man in South Oropouche yesterday afternoon.
At around 3 pm, Adesh Ramrattan, of Lezama Trace, was seated in his car on Belle Vue Road when the occupants of another vehicle opened fire on him.
His wife drove the car to the nearby police station.
Ramrattan is the fourth person to be murdered in a month in South Oropouche.
On May 12, Leroy Meade, of Warden Road, was shot to death in his apartment. The previous day, Hillary James, 43, was gunned down on Kroomen Settlement Trace.
The other victim, Duane Saunders, 30, was walking along Coker Street with his common-law wife on April 23 when he was shot.
His cousin, Brandon Payne, who also lives in South Oropouche, was shot during a car show at Carat Shed Beach, La Brea, on May 7.
