The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers in parts of South-West Trinidad, served by the Granville Water Treatment Plant, that emergency repair works were completed at 7:30 a.m. today, Friday 13th May 2022.
The disruption was a result of mechanical problems impacting operations at one of the Wells at the facility.
According to this release, the supply is currently being reinstated, with service to all affected areas expected to be restored by Sunday 15th May 2022.
Areas to be affected include:
Granville Old Road, Syfoo Trace, Bamboo Village, Bois Bourg, Coromandel, Fullerton, Cedros, Icacos, Lalla Street, Bilwa Street, Boodram Trace and Granville.
A limited truck borne supply is being provided upon request.
