The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty is ad­vis­ing cus­tomers in parts of South-West Trinidad, served by the Granville Wa­ter Treat­ment Plant, that emer­gency re­pair works were com­plet­ed at 7:30 a.m. to­day, Fri­day 13th May 2022. 

The dis­rup­tion was a re­sult of me­chan­i­cal prob­lems im­pact­ing op­er­a­tions at one of the Wells at the fa­cil­i­ty. 

  Ac­cord­ing to this re­lease, the sup­ply is cur­rent­ly be­ing re­in­stat­ed, with ser­vice to all af­fect­ed ar­eas ex­pect­ed to be re­stored by Sun­day 15th May 2022. 

Ar­eas to be af­fect­ed in­clude:   

Granville Old Road, Syfoo Trace, Bam­boo Vil­lage, Bois Bourg, Coro­man­del, Fuller­ton, Ce­dros, Ica­cos, Lal­la Street, Bil­wa Street, Boodram Trace and Granville. 

A lim­it­ed truck borne sup­ply is be­ing pro­vid­ed up­on re­quest.
