As in­ves­ti­ga­tions con­tin­ue in­to the crash of a small air­craft in the south­ern parish of St. Eliz­a­beth, it’s be­lieved to be linked to sus­pi­cious ac­tiv­i­ty.

Ac­cord­ing to the Ja­maica Ob­serv­er, a re­li­able source told the pub­li­ca­tion that the sus­pi­cion is based on pre­lim­i­nary in­ves­ti­ga­tions, which sug­gest that the plane might have land­ed and ex­pe­ri­enced dif­fi­cul­ty tak­ing off on late Fri­day .

It’s al­so sus­pect­ed that car­go on­board the plane – that used a road near a swamp as a run­way – was re­moved and the plane was pos­si­bly set ablaze.
