A 27-year-old man has ap­peared be­fore a Mas­ter of the High Court charged with the mur­der of Can­dice Hon­ore, whose body was found on Ju­ly 17, 2025, in the Va­len­cia dis­trict.

MICHAEL MOORE—a con­struc­tion labour­er of San­gre Grande al­so known as “Tall Man” and “Ful­ly Ful­ly”—was charged with the of­fence when he ap­peared be­fore Mas­ter Re­han­na Ho­sein, at the High Court North ‘B’, on Thurs­day 24 Ju­ly 2025.

The Suf­fi­cien­cy Hear­ing date has been set for Jan­u­ary 27, 2026.

Man­zanil­la res­i­dent, 22-year-old Can­dace Hon­ore was found dead in the Va­len­cia dis­trict on Ju­ly 17, 2025.

She had been re­port­ed miss­ing to the of­fi­cers of the Man­zanil­la Po­lice Sta­tion on Ju­ly 11.

A male sus­pect was ar­rest­ed in con­nec­tion with the mat­ter by PC Hosten of the Homi­cide In­tel­li­gence Unit, at the of­fice of an at­tor­ney-at-law in the San­gre Grande dis­trict, on Ju­ly 20.

Moore was charged with the of­fence by WPC La For­tune-Sali­na, fol­low­ing ad­vice re­ceived from Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions, Roger Gas­pard SC, on Wednes­day (Ju­ly 23, 2025).

The in­ves­ti­ga­tions were su­per­vised by ASP (Ag.) Vic­tor, W/In­sp. Sylvester, Sgt. Ra­moutar, Sgt Rad­haykissoon and PC Subi­ah, all of Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions (HBI), Re­gion Two.
