A 17-year-old girl was abducted and raped by a PH taxi driver on her way to school on Friday.
Police reported that around 7:25pm on Friday the victim and her mother reported to the Las Lomas Police Station what happened.
The mother said when she arrived home from work at around 6.20 pm her daughter relayed the horrific incident, and they both made their way to the police station.
The teen said around 5:50am she was standing at the corner of Solomon Drive, Chin Chin Road, Cunupia awaiting her school transport when a man of African descent, who she does not know approached her, stuck a knife at her waist and told her, “So hear what happening, doh move, if yuh move I would kill yuh.”
The said man then pushed her towards a blue car that was parked nearby and pushed her into the backseat. The attacker then engaged the child lock before driving off.
The man then stopped at Chin Chin Road Junction where he stole the girl’s Samsung S25plus, valued $8000.00TTD, and switched it off.
He then took her to an apartment where he sexually assaulted her.
Around 1:40pm the man dropped her off at Solomon drive, Chin Chin Drive, Cunupia and fled.
The man was described as being of African descent, tall, skinny, dark in complexion, bald headed, beard with patches and mustache. He was wearing a red and white cap, plain red jersey, light blue three-quarter jeans, and black belt.
