President Paula-Mae Weekes will swear in the newly-elected members of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) on Thursday at the Assembly Chamber in Scarborough.
The Secretaries will be sworn in on Friday.
Thursday's event begins at 1 pm with the arrival of the Assemblymen arrive at the Chamber and the official proceeding will start at 1.05 pm chaired by the Clerk of the House.
The process to elect a Presiding Officer commences at 1.10 pm and the Clerk is expected to declare the elected Presiding Officer at 1.15 pm.
The Presiding Officer will then depart to the Tea Room to receive the Oath of Office from President Weekes.
At 1:45 pm the Presiding Officer will lead the Assembly in the nomination and election of the Chief Secretary, Deputy Chief Secretary and the selection of a Minority Leader.
The next items will be the administering of Oaths to the Presiding Officer
followed by the appointment of the Chief Secretary and Deputy Chief Secretary and the appointment of a Minority Leader.
The Presiding Officer will then lead the meeting into the selection of the Councillors, which will include three from the Chief Secretary and one from the Minority Leader.
The Councillors will exit the Chamber to take the Oath of Office from the President and after they return the Presiding Officer will lead the meeting into the election of the Deputy Presiding Officer,
The Deputy Presiding Officer will then exit to take the Oath of Office.
On Friday, the members will begin arriving at the Chamber at 9 am followed by Chief Justice Ivor Archie, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and President Weekes.
President Weekes will then address the Assembly after which the meeting will be adjourned.
She will then exit the Chamber to administer the Oath of Office to Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries and receive a courtesy call from the Chief Secretary.
