Bandits made off with over $10,000 worth in snacks on Tuesday morning, after stealing from a delivery driver.
Police reported that around 11.15 am, the 27-year-old delivery driver parked a Sunshine Snacks delivery truck on George Street to purchase roti.
When he returned, he found the truck was broken into and snacks missing.
The driver said ten cases of almonds worth $3839.94; a case of honey roasted cashew nuts valued at $716.40; 13 cases of cashew nuts valued at $4642.56, and eight cases of sun mix valued $2757.13 were missing. The overall loss was valued at $11,956.03.
