A Glencoe distributor of disposable vapes was robbed of more than $170,000 in merchandise, after bandits broke into his rented warehouse in San Juan on Sunday.
The 26-year-old businessman secured the facility on Boundary Road, San Juan, around 2.30 pm on Saturday, activated the alarm, and left.
When he returned the following morning around 9 am, he discovered a glass door on the southern side of the building had been broken and the burglar-proofed gate on the eastern side cut open.
Upon inspection, he found eight cases of Juice Head disposable vapes valued at $88,000, five cases of Lost Mary disposable vapes valued at $40,000, and 12 cases of Raw wrapping paper worth $47,000 had been stolen. The total loss was estimated at $175,000.
Forensic investigators reported that no usable fingerprints were recovered at the scene.
However, police said they reviewed security footage from nearby businesses and expressed confidence that an arrest is imminent.
