Lost Tribe took all three Band of the Year Ti­tles this year. The fi­nal an­nounce­ment came from the 2024 Up­town Car­ni­val Im­prove­ment Com­mit­tee (UCIC) yes­ter­day.

Over 95 mas bands passed through the Pic­cadil­ly Greens judg­ing point from Car­ni­val Sun­day to Car­ni­val Tues­day.

Some of the events that took place on the Pic­cadil­ly Greens dur­ing the Car­ni­val sea­son were the Cam­boulay Re-en­act­ment and three days of UCIC Car­ni­val ac­tiv­i­ties. Of­fi­cials said the Car­ni­val cel­e­bra­tion was once again in­ci­dent-free.

The com­mit­tee said it was look­ing for­ward for next year to see if NCC Chair­man Win­ston “Gyp­sy” Pe­ters fol­lows through on his sug­ges­tion to make Pic­cadil­ly Greens a com­pul­so­ry judg­ing point.
