Po­lice have iden­ti­fied the two men and a woman killed in a po­lice-in­volved shoot­ing on Wednes­day night.

Po­lice said Jonathan and Roshan Ba­hadoor and Rhi­an­na Hare­wood were killed fol­low­ing a rob­bery in Ch­agua­nas.

Po­lice re­port­ed that of­fi­cers from the Cou­va Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions De­part­ment, Cen­tral Di­vi­sion Task Force and the Cou­va Charge Room were on an an­ti-crime ex­er­cise at 10.30 pm along Per­se­ver­ance Road, Ch­agua­nas, when they spot­ted a gold Nis­san Ti­i­da, which matched the de­scrip­tion of a ve­hi­cle used in a vi­o­lent rob­bery ear­ly Wednes­day along Ojar Av­enue, Chan­der­nagore.

Of­fi­cers said they called on the dri­ver of the car to stop, which he did. As the of­fi­cers ap­proached the car, how­ev­er, they were re­port­ed­ly shot at. Of­fi­cers re­turned fire and the dri­ver sped off.

The sus­pects were lat­er found and tak­en to the Ch­agua­nas Health Fa­cil­i­ty, where they suc­cumbed to their in­juries.
