To­ba­go in­ves­ti­ga­tors be­lieve the mur­der of Clif­ford Ram­sook was drug re­lat­ed.  Ram­sook was the is­land’s 14th mur­der for 2023.

Around 6 am on Sat­ur­day (De­cem­ber 30, 2023), res­i­dents re­port­ed hear­ing gun­shots to Rox­bor­ough Po­lice.

Soon af­ter, Clif­ford Ram­sook, of James Street, Good­wood, To­ba­go was found ly­ing in a grassy area off the Wind­ward Main Road in Golds­bor­ough, yes­ter­day morn­ing.

Po­lice told Guardian Me­dia that Ram­sook was shot mul­ti­ple times in the up­per body.

Crime scene in­ves­ti­ga­tors re­trieved five nine mm spent shells and one pro­jec­tile frag­ment from the area.
