Two men were ar­rest­ed for drug of­fences dur­ing an an­ti-crime ex­er­cise in the North­ern Di­vi­sion yes­ter­day.

Dur­ing the ex­er­cise,search­es con­duct­ed in Tu­na­puna and St Joseph re­sult­ed in the ar­rest of a 58 year- old man for pos­ses­sion of 206 grams of cannabis and a 22-year-old man for pos­ses­sion of 14 grams of co­caine for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing.

The ex­er­cise was con­duct­ed by a team of of­fi­cers which in­clud­ed Snr. Supt Ramkelawan, In­spec­tor Pitt and Sgt. La Pierre, Cpls. Forde and Su­perville, PC John and as­sist­ed by the K-9 Unit.
