Two male sus­pects were ar­rest­ed on Tues­day by San­gre Grande po­lice of­fi­cers fol­low­ing the re­port of a break-in at a busi­ness place in the area.

Ac­cord­ing to the TTPS, the busi­ness own­er se­cured the place around 12:30 a.m. Short­ly af­ter, he re­ceived an alert on his phone in­di­cat­ing a dis­rup­tion to the elec­tric­i­ty sup­ply. He re­turned to the busi­ness around 12:40 a.m., where he dis­cov­ered signs of forced en­try and saw two men in­side the build­ing. The own­er con­tact­ed the po­lice.

Of­fi­cers held the two sus­pects. Sev­er­al bags con­tain­ing al­co­holic and non-al­co­holic bev­er­ages, as well as a box con­tain­ing an as­sort­ment of cig­a­rettes, were re­cov­ered from the yard.
