Phillip Ed­ward Alexan­der has been ap­point­ed a gov­ern­ment sen­a­tor and sworn in as Min­is­ter in the Min­istry of Hous­ing.

The cer­e­mo­ny took place at the Of­fice of the Pres­i­dent, St Ann’s this af­ter­noon.

Alexan­der joins Hous­ing Min­is­ter David Lee and Anil Roberts, who is al­so a Min­is­ter in that Min­istry.

Mean­while, Satyaka­ma Ka­ma Ma­haraj was sworn in as Min­is­ter of Trade, In­vest­ment and Tourism.

Ma­haraj is the own­er of Sacha Cos­met­ics.
