The south­bound lane of Uri­ah But­ler High­way re­mains im­pass­able af­ter the Guaya­mare Riv­er over­flowed its banks ear­li­er to­day.

In an up­date just over an hour ago, the Min­istry of Works and Trans­port said on­ly high ve­hi­cles and trucks were be­ing al­lowed to di­vert to the north­bound lane, which was al­so flood­ed, un­til Munroe Road.

North Coast Road - Fall­en trees and land­slips along the road. Sin­gle lane traf­fic

Heights of Aripo - 5 slips cleared, sin­gle-lane traf­fic

Ari­ma Blan­chisseuse Road - fall­en trees cleared

Paria Road 55km - 61km land­slips cleared, sin­gle-lane traf­fic

East­ern Main Road, San­gre Grande - wa­ter sub­sided in the town area.

East­ern Main Road, Man­zanil­la - Flood­ing sub­sid­ing, cars able to pass.

North Oropouche Road and Fish­ing Pond Road - The flood wa­ter has start­ed to sub­side

Cu­napo South­ern Road - land­slips block­ing road­way at some points. Flood­ing in some ar­eas. Cars are able to pass from the 9km-22km

Ca­roni - Uri­ah But­ler High­way flood­ed South­bound. High ve­hi­cles and trucks di­vert­ed to North­bound un­til Munroe Road.

Uri­ah But­ler High­way north­bound flood­ed. High ve­hi­cles and trucks can pass.
