The Unit­ed States Em­bassy in Trinidad and To­ba­go has wel­comed Stu­art Young as the coun­try’s eighth Prime Min­is­ter.

In a re­lease, Chargé d’Af­faires Jenifer Nei­d­hart de Or­tiz said, “Con­grat­u­la­tions to Stu­art Young, on be­ing sworn in as the 8th Prime Min­is­ter of Trinidad and To­ba­go. I look for­ward to con­tin­ued col­lab­o­ra­tion on mat­ters of mu­tu­al in­ter­est to fur­ther strength­en and en­hance the bi­lat­er­al re­la­tion­ship be­tween our two great na­tions.”

The Trump ad­min­is­tra­tion has not ap­point­ed a new am­bas­sador to the coun­try as yet. The Chargé d’Af­faires per­form the same du­ties in the in­ter­im.
