A 65 year old man from Al­aba­ma in the Unit­ed States has been ar­rest­ed and charged af­ter be­ing found in pos­ses­sion of am­mu­ni­tion in Pi­ar­co In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port.

Po­lice re­ports say around 6.25 AM yes­ter­day, Es­tate Con­sta­ble Khan was per­form­ing X-ray screen­ing op­er­a­tions at the in-tran­sit check point at the Pi­ar­co In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port, when he had cause to screen a back­pack be­long­ing to the said sus­pect.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, up­on screen­ing the back­pack the of­fi­cer ob­served five (5) met­al ob­jects re­sem­bling that of am­mu­ni­tion in the top pock­et .

Based on his ob­ser­va­tions, a fur­ther search was con­duct­ed and five (5) rounds of .22 am­mu­ni­tion were dis­cov­ered.

The sus­pect was sub­se­quent­ly ar­rest­ed and charged for the of­fences of Pos­ses­sion of Am­mu­ni­tion by A.A.T.T as well as the im­por­ta­tion of a re­strict­ed goods by Cus­tom and Ex­cise Of­fi­cer II, Chris­t­ian Bowen.
