Wall Broth­ers Pro­duc­tion reg­is­tered a hat-trick of wins in Cou­va J’Ou­vert with a tan­ta­lis­ing por­tray­al of Maljo J’Ou­vert at the Cou­va Car­ni­val Cen­tre on Mon­day.

For good mea­sure, the Cou­va-based band, led by Neal Wall, al­so cap­tured three of the main in­di­vid­ual prizes. Aaron Thor­ing­ton won King of J’Ou­vert with his por­tray­al of King O-See, while his wife Jerene Thor­ing­ton took the Queen of J’Ou­vert crown with Queen I-See. Colleen Pas­cal took Fe­male In­di­vid­ual of the Year with Cou­va Come Alive.

“This is fan­tas­tic. I’m so elat­ed for our en­tire team. Hat-tricks don’t come easy. We are go­ing to cel­e­brate with gus­to,” the ex­cit­ed band­leader said af­ter­wards.

Bear Feel­ings J’Ou­vert, led by Amir Boodoo, took sec­ond place in Band of the Year ho­n­ours, with Who’s Bad­da!! Fi­nesse J’Ou­vert, led by Quamme John, placed third with Jab Topaz.

Mul­ti­ple cham­pi­ons An­ton and Loli­ta J’Ou­vert opt­ed out of the com­pe­ti­tion yet again but crossed the stage with over 3,000 rev­ellers with Out On De Road.

In oth­er re­sults, Aubrey Fe­lix took first place as Male In­di­vid­ual of the Year with Call­ing Jear­lean John on Stage, while Joseph Coombs placed sec­ond with I’m a Silent Blog­ger.
