A me­chan­i­cal prob­lem af­fect­ing one of the pumps at the  Siparia Wa­ter Treat­ment Plant has dis­rupt­ed the wa­ter sup­ply to cus­tomers in parts of Siparia. Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease from the Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (the Au­thor­i­ty), emer­gency re­pair work is cur­rent­ly un­der­way and is ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed on Au­gust 12th. 

The af­fect­ed ar­eas in­clude Quinam Road, Sen­non Vil­lage, Rail­way Road, Mary, George & Vic­to­ria, Up­per De Gannes, Low­er Coo­ra Road, Coo­ra Her­nan­dez Road, Coo­ra Ex­ten­sion, Mendez, Saney Trace, Kay Trace, Prana Home De­vel­op­ment, and High Street, in­clu­sive of all side streets
