Customers served by the Sierra Leone Well #10 are currently experiencing a disruption in water supply because of a significant decline in water production at the facility. According to a press release from WASA, emergency repair works to correct this situation are expected to be completed by 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.
Areas affected include Sierra Leone Road and all side streets, Morne Coco Road from Sierra Leone to Majuba Cross Road, and St Lucien Road from Sierra Leone to Superville Quarry, inclusive of all side streets.
Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take up 24 hours for the pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas.
