Cus­tomers served by the Sier­ra Leone Well #10 are cur­rent­ly ex­pe­ri­enc­ing a dis­rup­tion in wa­ter sup­ply be­cause of a sig­nif­i­cant de­cline in wa­ter pro­duc­tion at the fa­cil­i­ty. Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease from WASA, emer­gency re­pair works to cor­rect this sit­u­a­tion are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by 6:00 a.m. to­mor­row. 

Ar­eas af­fect­ed in­clude Sier­ra Leone Road and all side streets, Morne Co­co Road from Sier­ra Leone to Ma­ju­ba Cross Road, and St Lu­cien Road from Sier­ra Leone to Su­perville Quar­ry, in­clu­sive of all side streets. 

Cus­tomers are fur­ther ad­vised that fol­low­ing the com­ple­tion of these works, it may take up 24 hours for the pipe borne wa­ter sup­ply to nor­mal­ize to some af­fect­ed ar­eas.
