Emergency rehabilitation works on Sierra Leone Well No. 10 this week, will mean an interruption in the water supply in parts of Diego Martin, an advisory from the Water and Sewerage Authority says.
The supply disruption begins today, Monday 15 August 2022, and will continue to Friday, August 19.
“This has become necessary in order to carry out emergency well rehabilitation works at the facility,” WASA explains in the advisory.
A limited truck borne water supply will be available upon request. WASA is urging customers to arrange a system of storage and manage their water use efficiently over the period of this disruption.
Affected areas include:
● Sierra Leone Road and all side streets
● Morne Coco Road from Sierra Leone to Majuba Cross Road
● St. Lucien Road from Sierra Leone to Superville Quary and all side streets
WASA expects to begin full restoration of the pipe-borne water supply on Friday 19 August 2022.
