The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty is ad­vis­ing cus­tomers served by the Tuck­er Val­ley Pump­ing Sta­tion of the dis­rup­tion to their wa­ter sup­ply on Thurs­day, May 19 2022 dur­ing the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. 

Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease, this has be­come nec­es­sary in or­der to car­ry out emer­gency re­pairs to a leak­ing 16” di­am­e­ter trans­mis­sion pipeline, along the West­ern Main Road, Care­nage, in the vicin­i­ty of Tem­blodo­ra Park.

The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (the Au­thor­i­ty) ad­vis­es cus­tomers in parts of North-West Trinidad served by the Tuck­er Val­ley Pump­ing Sta­tion that there will be an in­ter­rup­tion in their wa­ter sup­ply on Thurs­day 19th May 2022 be­tween the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  

This has be­come nec­es­sary in or­der to car­ry out emer­gency re­pairs to a leak­ing 16” di­am­e­ter trans­mis­sion pipeline, along the West­ern Main Road, Care­nage, in the vicin­i­ty of Tem­blodo­ra Park.  

Ar­eas to be af­fect­ed in­clude:  

Along West­ern Main Road, Ch­aguara­mas from Tuck­er Val­ley Road to La Hor­quette Val­ley Road in­clu­sive of Abbe Pou­jade Street, Haig Street, School Street, L’Anse Mi­tan, Big Yard, Amowsville, Sano­ra Park, La Hor­quette Branch Road, The Park, Gulf View Dri­ve and Glen­coe.  

The Au­thor­i­ty fur­ther ad­vis­es that it may take up to 8 hours for the ser­vice to nor­mal­ize to some af­fect­ed ar­eas fol­low­ing the com­ple­tion of these re­pairs.
