A D’Abadie woman was re­port­ed­ly as­sault­ed by her ex-boyfriend and his fam­i­ly dur­ing a vis­it to their home on Mon­day.

The 33-year-old woman of Swal­low Lane, Mal­oney Gar­dens, re­port­ed­ly went to the home of her for­mer part­ner at Gull Ter­race around 2.30 am.

It was al­leged the woman had an al­ter­ca­tion with her ex-boyfriend, his broth­er and their fa­ther, whom it is be­lieved is a po­lice of­fi­cer.

Fol­low­ing the in­ci­dent, the woman re­port­ed­ly left for home but claimed the three men fol­lowed her, re­strained her against her will, and dragged her back to their home, where they all took turns kick­ing and cuff­ing her about her body, caus­ing in­juries.

Res­i­dents who wit­nessed the al­ter­ca­tion raised an alarm and of­fi­cers from the Mal­oney Po­lice Sta­tion re­spond­ed. They took the in­jured woman to the Ari­ma Hos­pi­tal, where she was treat­ed and trans­ferred to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex, Mt Hope.

The woman was ward­ed in a sta­ble but crit­i­cal con­di­tion up to yes­ter­day af­ter suf­fer­ing two bro­ken ribs, a punc­tured lung, and a lac­er­a­tion to the head.
