Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has left the country for a private trip to Barbados.
A media release from the Office of the Prime Minister yesterday said Rowley had left for Barbados and was accompanied by his wife, Sharon Rowley.
The release did not give any details of the trip or the length of time the Prime Minister will be out of the country.
During Rowley’s absence, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young, will act as Prime Minister until his return.
It will be Young’s fourth stint as acting Prime Minister.
